Advent of Lucifer Day 30: The Wayfinder

You got to go down a lot of wrong roads to find the right one.– Arthur C Clarke

The Wayfinder

Part of the 2022 Advent of Lucifer

To say that no one has blazed a trail for us would be an understatement. In most of the world, the way is relatively smoothed for conformists willing to maintain the status quo, while outsiders are left to fend for themselves. There are personal and social resources that are simply unavailable to people unwilling to toe the line.

In particular, religious communities look out for each other in advantageous ways, and for the crime of non-participation, we are simply excluded from any of that. It is one of the many ways that Christianity, especially, is systemically reinforced, and adherents get the deniability of “forcing” themselves on anyone, while merely excluding others from every possible social advantage.

That is one of the levers of control we want to remove from our members in the Luciferian Dominion. But it isn’t that easy for us. Many Christians have the resources that they do because they’ve had access to inherited wealth, because they were willing to placate their ideological elders and submit to indoctrination. More often than not, we are cut off from things like generational wealth if we choose to live authentically. Instead, we watch our siblings, other relatives, or sometimes even the church itself receive our inheritance. We are often estranged from our families.

To be a successful Luciferian is to carve out a niche on the margins.

We don’t want to be Christians and capitalists. We are never going to assume their role – we cannot, morally – it is not about wanting what they have, it’s about not wanting them to have that kind of unilateral, catastrophically destructive and inhumane resource hoarding power in the first place.

If we reject the old way, then we have to find a new path. This will require bravery, innovation, and commitment to each other. We will have to privilege knowledge and compassion instead of greed and conformity. At some point, all of us will have to acknowledge that things are falling apart, and that all we’re going to have is what we claw from the earth with our own hands.

Absolutely no one is going to consider or take care of us. We are an outsider class among outsider classes. A superminority. And as of right now, we are so balkanized as to be functionally paralyzed.

Nothing is going to change until we begin to reject grift and the aggressive mediocrity of white men sniffing around for free money and artificial sexual viability. We have to prop up leaders who get things done, who display competence and knowledge and care, who are capable and courageous. We have to become capable of discerning those qualities in the first place, and then we have to find the courage to begin to truly deviate, to say “I’m not going to live this way anymore.” and then support each other as hard as we can. We have to liberate Luciferians from Christian capitalist oppression one at a time.

No one is going to do this for us. This is a path we must find on our own, for our own.

Charging the Sigil

The Wayfinder inspires us to forge our own path. For many of us, this path has been fraught with deceivers – those who wield power and delusions over truth. We deserve so much more than that. We are the creators of our path, finding the beauty and meaning in our life that we so desperately need. The Wayfinder reminds us that we are capable of leading and not just following, and that we must examine the world’s truths in our own light with discernment. We cannot fall victim to those who would rather live in apathetic ignorance or complacent lies. We must craft from the old to divine new wisdoms. Our path is merely waiting for us to find it, and we shall forge ahead, ever persistent in our creation of our new world.

As we devote our time this month to honoring Lucifer, charging our sigil encourages a deeper connection. If this is your first time charging a symbol like this, you can think of it like a moodboard – this sigil represents us as a community and religion. What does this sigil mean to you? What can it represent? Take the time to focus and reflect, meditate on what each of our concepts mean to you and how they can apply to our lives.

For our energy workers, you may charge our sigil by visualizing a bright white light surrounding it. Use breath work to guide this energy into the sigil, knowing that it grows in strength as you do so. You can also focus our themed concepts into the sigil using meditation and our affirmations to program this energy. This will serve to strengthen our sigil for later use in our ritual.

The following incantation may be used as part of your sigil charging, or used as an affirmation:

“Forge thy own path, fill thy life with truth.”

Daily Devotion

The Wayfinder asks that we examine our spiritual journey today. Meditate or journal on what this path means to you. Where do you want your path to lead to and how will you get there? What steps do you need to take? Our journeys may not look the same, and that’s okay. What matters is our destination and that we stop fighting through the weeds of illusions that grow rampant in our religion. We are Wayfinders, and our path is full of beauty, knowledge, and meaning just waiting for us to find it. Search deep through your soul today, so that you know in your heart what you need to do to forge ahead.

Make Your Own

We encourage you to make your own oracle card for each of our themed days, so that come the end of our Advent, you will have your own Luciferian oracle deck. These cards may be used to give you insight on what you may need to work with in the future.

We recommend using blank playing cards if available, but any kind of art or canvas cards, even lined notecards can be used. Make your drawing or symbol (it doesn’t have to be amazing, only meaningful to you) on one side and on the other write down any key phrases or words or concepts that resonate with the image to you.

If you choose to share your result, which we would love to see, you may use the hashtags #luciferiandominion and #adventoflucifer so that we can find them! If you choose to make your oracle deck part of your #Inktober or #Drawloween events, please feel free to use those hashtags and include them in relevant spaces!

Happy creating during this blessed Advent!
