The Sun is a daily reminder that we, too, can rise again from the darkness,
that we, too, can shine our own light. – S. Ajna
The Sun
Part of the 2022 Advent of Lucifer
The morningstar refers to the planet Venus, which rises before the Unconquered Sun. While Lucifer is more closely associated with this ambitious heavenly body, Venus, as all things in our solar system, reflect light from one source only – our Sun.
Such is its consistency, power, and uniqueness in our sky that it has been worshiped as a god itself, feared, revered, and sacrificed to, but remaining constant. To us in the Luciferian Dominion, the Sun represents detached power in its purest form, the sustenance of life, the arrival of good news and one of few uncompromising forces that must be respected and obeyed.
The Sun cares nothing for our interest, reverence, or the state of our atmosphere. That miraculous life and consciousness sprung up in its gaze is meaningless to our only star. The Sun represents, also, the impermanence of all things, for Helios, too, is mortal and must one day perish, reminding us that even a god may die.
Charging the Sigil
The Sun is one of the most powerfully positive aspects to work with as it is our source of life, and illuminates the truth of our own power and strength. This celestial light cleanses our soul, guiding our way. We are encouraged to look within, to care for our own energies, while also looking outward and enjoying this life we lead. The sun has the power to bring light to even the darkest of days – bringing abundant blessings to our lives.
As we devote our time this month to honoring Lucifer, charging our sigil encourages a deeper connection. If this is your first time charging a symbol like this, you can think of it like a mood board – this sigil represents us as a community and religion. What does this sigil mean to you? What can it represent? Take the time to focus and reflect, meditate on what each of our concepts mean to you and how they can apply to our lives.
For our energy workers, you may charge our sigil by visualizing a bright white light surrounding it. Use breath work to guide this energy into the sigil, knowing that it grows in strength as you do so. You can also focus our themed concepts into the sigil using meditation and our affirmations to program this energy. This will serve to strengthen our sigil for later use in our ritual.
As we are working with the sun, solar energy is incredibly powerful to use for charging sigils. You can direct the energy down into the sigil by visualizing a stream of white golden light from the sun into the sigil for a few minutes, or simply leave a copy of our sigil in the sunlight for the day, and say “The Sun charges and strengthens our sigil.”
The following incantation may be used as part of your sigil charging, or used as an affirmation:
“Light my way, that I see the truth of my own power illuminated.”
Daily Devotion
The Sun inspires us to make time for ourselves on this day. Self care is of utmost importance in these dark times.
Meditate with the Sun’s energy. Draw this energy down to you, filling your body. Feel your connection to the Sun.
Take the time to go outside and embrace the autumnal sunlight.
Cleanse your home, and altar space, allowing for positivity and joy to fill your personal spaces. This can be done with incense and affirmations such as, “I cleanse my home of all negativity. This home is protected at all times and in every way. I fill my home with joy and abundant happiness.”

Make Your Own
We encourage you to make your own oracle card for each of our themed days, so that come the end of our Advent, you will have your own Luciferian oracle deck. These cards may be used to give you insight on what you may need to work with in the future.
We recommend using blank playing cards if available, but any kind of art or canvas cards, even lined notecards can be used. Make your drawing or symbol (it doesn’t have to be amazing, only meaningful to you) on one side and on the other write down any key phrases or words or concepts that resonate with the image to you.
If you choose to share your result, which we would love to see, you may use the hashtags #luciferiandominion and #adventoflucifer so that we can find them! If you choose to make your oracle deck part of your #Inktober or #Drawloween events, please feel free to use those hashtags and include them in relevant spaces!
Happy creating during this blessed Advent!
